Saw stop was tripped last night after starting. No wood being cut, nothing other than the guard in place.
It is extremely likely that the guard contacting the blade was the issue.
that is concerning. it should not have any play keeping it well away from the blade. maybe the clamp holding the blade isn't engaged fully resulting in a loose hold? I'll take a look next time i get a chance
Went to install the saw stop guard but noticed there is a significant amount of play where the guard will contact the blade.
Seems like this will trigger the brake? Anyone else have this problem or know what to adjust?
